I recently returned from two weeks in Japan shooting two episodes of PBS show Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope. We shot for a little over a week all around Tokyo, and also braved the seas on a 25.5-hour boat trip to the seldom-visited Ogasawara Islands (formerly known as the Bonin Islands) where we enjoyed five days of shooting and learning about these beautiful islands with a fascinating and unique history. It was a privilege to get to such a varied introduction to so many aspects of Japanese culture.
